The main results detected unstable behaviors in their lifestyles, such as multiemployment and labor precariousness. The contribution of this study consisted in identifying who these musicians are, what their professional careers are like, as well as the understanding of the opportunities, difficulties and limitations they face to achieve a balance between economic and personal fulfillment. It was concluded that this group of artists faces a series of contingencies during the processes that occur from the beginning of their professional careers to their insertion into the labor market.</p> Mónica Garza Barrera González, Eleocadio Martínez Silva Copyright (c) http://mail.produccioncientificaluz.org/index.php/gaceta/article/view/44963 Burnout syndrome in medical professionals during the SARS-COVID-19 pandemic in Maracaibo, Venezuela http://mail.produccioncientificaluz.org/index.php/gaceta/article/view/44964 <p>The SARS-COVID-19 disease caused a general climate of caution and uncertainty, particularly among health professionals, due to various causes such as the rapid spread of COVID-19, the severity of the symptoms it can cause in a segment of infected people, lack of knowledge of the disease and deaths among health professionals. The objective of this work is to describe the associated and influential factors among medical personnel to determine the levels of prevalence and intensity of burnout syndrome during the pandemic of the new Coronavirus SARS-COVID-19. This is an applied, descriptive, quantitative, non-experimental research, based on the inductive, transversal method, with a sample of 200 professional doctors who worked in public and private medical centers during the year 2021, to whom the Maslach Burnout Inventory to assess burnout syndrome in the face of the increase in COVID-19 cases. The systematic review was carried out in the PubMed, Scopus and Web of Science databases and descriptive studies were reviewed. Regarding the results, in the emotional exhaustion subscale, 80% of the doctors surveyed presented burnout syndrome considered severe; medical personnel are affected, both globally and in the emotional exhaustion and depersonalization subscales. The findings suggest that burnout syndrome and physical exhaustion have become even more accentuated, resulting in a high prevalence of burnout symptoms in doctors.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> Juan Carlos Araujo Cuauro Copyright (c) http://mail.produccioncientificaluz.org/index.php/gaceta/article/view/44964 Acoso laboral en Venezuela: un análisis de sus manifestaciones y marco legal de protección http://mail.produccioncientificaluz.org/index.php/gaceta/article/view/44965 <p>This document analyzes the phenomenon of workplace harassment in Venezuela and its legal framework of protection.&nbsp; It&nbsp; is&nbsp; the&nbsp; responsibility&nbsp; of&nbsp; employers&nbsp; to&nbsp; provide&nbsp; a&nbsp; safe&nbsp; and&nbsp; healthy work environment, as well as fair and dignified working conditions. However, it is noted that there have been situations&nbsp; of&nbsp; workplace&nbsp; harassment&nbsp; in&nbsp; Venezuela,&nbsp; which encompass actions, incidents, or behaviors</p> <p>that deviate from what is reasonable and result in aggression, threats, humiliations, or injuries towards a person in the exercise of their professional activity. Workplace harassment is significantly highlighted, which involves the intention to destroy the victim through manipulation and systematic intimidation. Therefore, the importance of addressing this problem and promoting a harmonious and respectful work environment is emphasized. Companies are urged to take appropriate measures to prevent new cases of workplace harassment, and the importance of reporting these is emphasized. The study is based on an analytical, documentary, and bibliographic methodology, using sources such as laws, books, journals, and scientific articles. It examines the concept of workplace violence and mobbing or workplace harassment, its manifestations and consequences, and underscores the importance of adopting explicit and clear policies in organizations to prevent and address these cases. In conclusion, the document highlights the need to understand and combat workplace violence in Venezuela, promoting a safe, respectful, and harassment-free work environment. The importance of legislation and organizational policies in protecting workers' fundamental rights is emphasized.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> Andrea Vanessa Salas Rujano, Carlos Luis Vílchez Gutiérrez Copyright (c) http://mail.produccioncientificaluz.org/index.php/gaceta/article/view/44965 Acoso laboral y acoso sexual: Formas para presionar cambios en las relaciones de trabajo http://mail.produccioncientificaluz.org/index.php/gaceta/article/view/44966 <p>La legislación laboral anterior a la Ley Orgánica del Trabajo, los Trabajadores y las Trabajadoras, en adelante LOTTT (Ley del Trabajo de 1936, Ley Orgánica de Tribunales y de Procedimiento del Trabajo de 1959, Ley Orgánica del Trabajo de 1997, Ley Orgánica del Trabajo de 2011 y reglamentos de leyes laborales), no consideró en su contenido el Acoso Laboral y el Acoso Sexual; ello viene a ocurrir en la LOTTT, concretamente en sus artículos 79, literal k), 80, literal h), 164 y 165.
