Decoloración del colorante industrial Turquesa Erionyl con el hongo de la pudrición blanca de la madera Bjerkandera sp. R1

Resumen

Los efluentes de las industrias textiles y de tintorería provocan un impacto ambiental negativo, debido principalmente a su alta carga de colorantes y compuestos recalcitrante. Con el fin de reducir estos problemas, estos efluentes deben ser tratados antes de ser descargados en los cuerpos de agua. En este trabajo se evaluó el uso de los procesos biológicos para la degradación de colorantes recalcitrantes del tipo ftalocianinas, empleando el hongo de pudrición blanca anamorfo Bjerkandera sp. R1. La decoloración del colorante Turquesa Erionyl se llevó a cabo a una escala de laboratorio en un cultivo sumergido por lotes usando diferentes concentraciones iniciales del colorante. El porcentaje de decoloración alcanzó 70 a 80% en 7 días de tratamiento y la reducción de la toxicidad del efluente fue del 64%. Con base a los resultados obtenidos se propuso una posible ruta de degradación para el colorante turquesa Erionyl.
