Journal Mission

The journal Cuestiones Politica has as its fundamental mission to be, at all times, a high-impact international publication capable of disseminating, with open access, scientific knowledge with political, legal and humanistic utility in order to contribute to the development of current trends that determine the course of research in law, political science and the social sciences; as well as to solve the problems and challenges that make up the current world order.

The magazine Cuestiones Politales, is a publication sponsored by the Institute of Political Studies and Public Law “Dr. Humberto J. La Roche ”(IEPDP) of the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences of the University of Zulia.

Focus

The journal Cuestiones Políticas focuses on the dissemination of scientific knowledge with application in the political, legal and humanistic fields. To this end, it publishes research articles, reviews, essays and commentaries on topics relevant to politics, law and global society.

Scope

The journal has an international scope and is aimed at a community of researchers, academics, students and professionals interested in the social sciences.

Objectives

The objectives of the journal are:

• To publish high impact articles in the areas of political science, law and social sciences in general. To this end, the journal has a rigorous peer review process that guarantees the quality of the articles published.
• To disseminate the scientific production in political science, law or social sciences of an international community of researchers. To this end, the journal is indexed in the main international databases and is available online for free consultation.
• To facilitate the presentation, discussion and confrontation of ideas and scientific advances with social commitment. To this end, the journal organizes academic events and promotes the exchange of ideas among researchers from different disciplines.
