Reformulation of specialty in municipal management
Abstract
The program in Municipal Management Specialty level, is attached to the Postgraduate and Research Coordination of the East Coast Nucleus of Lake of the University of Zulia, with the purpose of improving the quality of the graduates; In order to achieve the social relevance of the postgraduate program as well as to maintain and optimize quality in academic processes, this Coordination carried out the process of reformulating all the elements of the program, where a series of aspects were identified based on the which value judgments were issued that allowed decisions to be taken to maintain and reformulate some aspects of the program. The self-evaluation activities were implemented based on the guide designed by the Iberia American Postgraduate University Association, defines guidelines and guidelines for the evaluation of advanced training programs. Then, each item evaluated was analyzed allowing establishing the relevance, feasibility, social relevance, objectives, profile of the graduate and curriculum.
