Abstract

The idea of ​​development has been studied in various fields, from classical to the most contemporary with the ambition of achieving a global, holistic approach; where the economy plays a leading role for human life and meet the needs
with the purpose of having better living conditions. Since the second half of the last century, until now, the frequency and attention to the environment has increased, taking care of the natural capital of the planet, since we, as ecosystems, depend on their services, allowing the life of civilization human and biodiversity. So, this model of sustainable development contemplates living now, without affecting and consuming, the resources for future generations, as affirmed by the Brundtland Report (1987). Faced with this scenario, 193 countries that make up the UN decided to assume an agenda that is promoting a sustainable and prosperous world for all in the next 15 years.
