Abstract

Nursing is a profession that has been constantly and progressively evolving due to educational training, clinical standards and different professional nursing associations that have significantly increased the quality, skills and working conditions of the nursing profession. . It constitutes the largest occupational group in the health sector, on the other hand, the recovery and well-being of the population in general have been achieved, thanks to the competent work of the nursing professional. There are risk factors, coupled with working conditions and lifestyle that give rise to discomfort and illness, physical and emotional exhaustion, disabilities and job dissatisfaction, which is why they are exposed to a series of risks typical of the workplace. The main objective was to identify the risk factors to which the nursing professional is exposed. A review of the literature on the environment and occupational health in emergency room nursing staff was carried out from 2015 to the current date. The results of the review indicate that the occupational health of nursing staff is affected by ergonomic and biological risk factors, Burnout syndrome, among others.mería”, “Sala de Emergencias”
