Corporate Social Responsibility in the film Macuro (2008)
Abstract
The individual as a social being has a set of attributes that have a lot in their daily relationships with family, the community where they live and work where he works, promoting effective social unit. The current investigation set the following goal: to show how from the demands of an organized people, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) becomes considered policy of improving the quality of life of the community where the company works. The methodology used was the interpretive textual Semiotics (Lotman, 1996) and notions of ‘situated activity’ and ‘technical expresives resources’ (García Molero, 2007). One conclusion, among others, was that the organized community by using social capital can get the companies working in the community take into account their problems and existential needs so that their solutions are part of the policy of Corporate Social Responsibility.
