Focus and Scope

The magazine Divulgación Matemáticas, is an organ of scientific and informative publications of the Experimental Faculty of Sciences of the University of Zulia, created in 1993 as a printed magazine. It serves as an instrument for the dissemination of scientific-technical and educational research in all areas of Mathematics and its applications to other sciences. In this, outstanding and unpublished research works are presented, in the form of scientific research articles, popular and historical articles, mathematical teaching articles, from the scientific-technological and educational community at a national and international level, coming from Universities, Centers of Research and National and Foreign Institutes. In addition, the magazine publishes a section on problems and solutions where a series of unsolvable problems are exposed mainly aimed at students of Mathematics, and other problems with their respective solutions.

Mathematical Disclosures is published semi-annually in two numbers (January-June and July-December) corresponding to an annual volume. Each issue is published in Spanish and / or English. Since 2016 the magazine circulates only in digital format. The journal follows a totally free open access policy, allowing the complete content of the journal to be downloaded, and per article, in digital PDF format.

Authors must submit their manuscripts prepared with the LaTex language using the journal template presented in the Guide for authors. Manuscripts are subjected to an evaluation process by external peers, made up of a scientific committee and expert evaluators in the area and lines of research of the same. It is a double-blind, external peer process. After the manuscript is approved and published in the journal, the author can place his manuscript in the format published on his personal website, can distribute copies in electronic or printed format and reuse part of it in his future articles, always and clearly indicating the correct citation of the corresponding credits.
