Socio-anthroplogy of counseling: theoretical basis and espistemological fundamentals

Abstract

This article aims to disseminate the epistemological foundations that are related to the discipline of Guidance, while conceptually nourishing it. These come from Philosophy, Cultural Anthropology and Sociology; disciplines that inspire a transdisciplinary vision to form a Socioanthropology of Guidance. Methodologically, it is the result of a documentary investigation, complemented by the experience of authors such as Hills (2002) and Vera (2001), emphasizing the contributions of cultural Anthropology, where the counselor works with human processes; Therefore, it is necessary to know about the functioning of culture as the maximum expression of human nature, considering it as the quality that separates the individual from the rest of the species. As a conclusion obtained from this analysis, we can point out the historical outline that the epistemology of anthropology has evolved to form a stage of emerging paradigms
