Kant en la empresa: principios éticos y deberes imperfectos en la gestión de gerentes colombianos

Resumen

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo explorar cómo los gerentes del sector industrial en Colombia integran principios éticos kantianos en su gestión y abordan los deberes imperfectos en sus decisiones empresariales. El desarrollo del objetivo sigue una metodología cualitativa, aplicando entrevistas semiestructuradas a gerentes de medianas y grandes compañías ubicadas en cuatro ciudades principales de Colombia. Los hallazgos evidencian que al menos la mitad de los gerentes entrevistados se guían por principios universalizables como la honestidad y la transparencia. Además, se encuentra que cuando el motor de acción es un imperativo categórico como el respeto por la persona, se da una conexión con los deberes imperfectos. Por otro lado, se identifican al menos seis escenarios, de los cuales cuatro reflejan una combinación del imperativo categórico y los deberes imperfectos en la toma de decisiones gerenciales.
