Economía circular en residuos de aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos
Abstract
Actualmente el uso de recursos naturales, el desafío de leyes y sostenibilidad ambiental, así como la gestión de residuos, recibe una atención considerable. La investigación plantea como objetivo analizar la economía circular como una estrategia en el manejo de residuos de aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos, a través de un estudio descriptivo, no experimental, considerando las computadoras portátiles desechadas en una universidad. El estudio se llevó a cabo en dos etapas: La primera, una propuesta de producto remanufacturado donde se examinó la potencialidad de las partes de computadoras portátiles para ser recicladas en base a 110 equipos reciclados; la segunda, una estrategia de negocio basada en la economía circular, con la finalidad de identificar la percepción de la oferta de computadoras remanufacturadas, para ello se diseñó una herramienta validada por expertos, la cual fue aplicada a 367 estudiantes universitarios. Como resultado, se determinó la relación entre el nivel socioeconómico y la aceptación de computadores personales remanufacturados, encontrándose correlaciones significativas. Se concluye, que la economía circular estudiada es una alternativa adecuada de gestión de desechos de partes de computadoras, además se observó una percepción positiva a este tipo de productos de acuerdo a las necesidades de computo de los usuarios.
