Perfiles de educación universitaria: Un análisis comparativo
Resumen
Ante el dinamismo y la complejidad del sector educativo en Ecuador, este estudio se enfoca en comparar los perfiles de Programas de Educación de pregrado en universidades a nivel local, regional y nacional. Se adoptó una metodología cualitativa-descriptiva, con un enfoque en la revisión documental. La muestra incluyó universidades de distintos niveles, seleccionadas por su representatividad, diversidad geográfica y variabilidad académica. Los resultados indican que, particularmente en las universidades de Manabí, existen variaciones significativas en la oferta académica, los perfiles tanto de ingreso como de egreso y los enfoques pedagógicos. Estas instituciones han demostrado una adaptación estratégica a las demandas regionales, con un énfasis en la formación docente diversificada y especializada. El estudio resalta la importancia de adoptar metodologías y prácticas pedagógicas innovadoras para enfrentar los desafíos educativos actuales; además, una notable heterogeneidad en la oferta académica y las metodologías pedagógicas en las universidades de Manabí. Se identifican enfoques divergentes entre los programas, lo cual responde a los cambios en el mercado laboral y necesidades educativas. En conclusión, los perfiles de ingreso y egreso subrayan la relevancia de habilidades fundamentales y adaptativas, mientras que la investigación y la vinculación social emergen como elementos clave en el desarrollo socioeducativo.
